Dr. Amie Lapp Payne, President
- With more than 25 years of experience working with --and serving--a variety of children and families across the nation, teaching children; administering educational programs; researching children's well-being in early care and educational environments; advocating for families at state and national levels; offering consultation to educators, parents, administrators, and investors in the early childhood space; and mothering her own two children as well as that of her late sister's, Amie gets it. She understands the gap between the ideal and the real and she listens with her heart as well as her mind. She is ready and willing to help and she is more than equipped and prepared to do so!
- Amie Lapp Payne, Ph.D. is a child developmentalist specializing in Children’s Social and Emotional Development, the proud military wife of a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a Christian Mama of twins who is no stranger to publishing articles, public speaking, or delivering virtual or in-person education- or professional development-focused or Christ-centered presentations. She is the president of Your Child & Family Solutions Consulting and the founder of Ouchy Wrap LLC.
- Understanding first-hand the challenge and importance of connecting with each individual child, Dr. Payne has made it her mission to help parents and educators find children's own unique sets of gifts while simultaneously navigating their shared challenges. As Amie knows from her own personal experiences, sometimes parenting and teaching our unique children means weathering some pretty big thunderstorms...but I promise, after each storm, there is always an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful rainbow together.
